Rauschert optains Energy Efficiency Award 2016
Rauschert engineered and implemented an Energy Management System (EMS) based on a new innovative current sensor.
Every year the German Energy Agency (dena) announces the nominees for the Energy Efficiency Award. With its Energy Management System (EMS) Rauschert was one of the ten nominees. The jury awarded the "Acknowledgment Award Digitization" to Rauschert for the development and impelmentation of an energy management system (EMS) based on a new innovative current sensor.
The international competition stands under the patronage of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and is sponsored by premium partners Danfoss GmbH and DZ Bank AG. For the tenth time in a row the award demonstrates industrial competence in energy efficiency and climate protection.
The competition jury evaluated all projects on the basis of energy conservation, relevance to climate protection, economic efficiency, transferability and level of innovation.
The jury consists of Thorsten Herdan, Director-General for Energy Policy – Heating and Efficiency, Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy; Dr. Carsten Rolle, Head of Energy and Climate Policy department, The Voice of German Industry (BDI); Ole Møller-Jensen, Managing Director Danfoss GmbH; Matthias Hümpfner, Associate Director DZ BANK AG; Klaus Stratmann, Handelsblatt GmbH Business and Financial Journal, Parlamentsredaktion; Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Wagner, Technical University of Munich, Chair of Energy Economy and Application Technology; Andreas Kuhlmann, Chairman of the dena executive board.
