Through sintering at high temperatures, a ceramic material with a diamond-like hardness is created.<\/p>\n<p>The moulding procedures for aluminum oxide are dry pressing, ceramic injection moulding (CIM), extrusion and isostatic pressing. High requirements of end dimension precision, smoothness and surface quality are met by processing with diamond tools.<\/p>\n<p>The alumina produced by Rauschert with a purity grade of 99.7% bears the trade name of RAPAL. It is distinguished by excellent properties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>very high degree of hardness and wear resistance<\/li>\n<li>high breaking strength<\/li>\n<li>very high heat resistance<\/li>\n<li>good thermal conductivity<\/li>\n<li>electrical insulation, even at high temperatures<\/li>\n<li>corrosion resistance in diluted acids and lyes<\/li>\n<li>low-friction surface with reproducible surface properties<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Applications<\/h3>\n<p>An almost endless field of applications has opened up in recent years for aluminum oxide due to its largely positive material properties. Selected examples are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>lever collars and sealing elements in pump and plumbing construction<\/li>\n<li>thread guides in textile machine engineering<\/li>\n<li>wire feeders in the wire and cable industry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Enquiries<\/h3>\n<p>We will be pleased to draw up an offer for you!
